2004 Message from the Chairman
Ladies
and Gentlemen:
It
is with a feeling of great pride and honor that I look forward
to the New Year – 2004
– as your newly appointed chairman. I have great expectations
of leading the Parker Economic Development Council (PEDC)
toward a goal of understanding, cooperation and goodwill
between the PEDC and all of the government agencies and
service organizations that comprise the community of Parker.
To
meet these three goals, I am sponsoring a series of half-day
informational seminars that will be hosted by the individual
service providers. Each of these hosts will present
a service plan and discussion of the process of developing
its services within the community.
My
intention is to educate the PEDC and all of the service
providers as to the interdependency that each of these agencies
has with one another in hopes of facilitating greater cooperation
for the future development of OUR community. Please
help me make this program successful by your attendance
and active participation.
I
believe that this program can provide us with a stepping
stone for the future and that we will look back on 2004
with a feeling of accomplishment.
