Pikes Peak Drive Sidewalk Project

Project Information and Resources

Construction for sidewalk improvements on Pikes Peak Drive in downtown Parker is scheduled to begin soon. 

Among the highlights of this project are:

  • Widening of sidewalk in need or replacement on both sides of Pikes Peak Drive between Mainstreet and the Sulphur Gulch Bridge to a variable width of 6 to 8 feet 
  • Reconstruction of driveways, curb ramps and crosswalks to current ADA standards
  • Improved pedestrian lighting
  • Conversion of the Pikes Peak Avenue / Pikes Peak Drive intersection to a three-way stop 

Construction for this project is expected to begin in April and run through the end of the 2023 construction season.

Community Open House / Weekly Project Briefings

The Town’s Engineering and Public Works Department will hold a Community Open House  for individuals who would like to learn more about this project. 

  • April 19
  • 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Parker Town Hall

Additionally, the project construction manager and contractor will be on-site daily during construction to address public concerns.
