Plan Review Process:
All plans and documents are required to be submitted through your eTrakit account. Please submit in PDF format only. Our goal is to review all simple solar permits is 10-14 business days. You will be notified through the eTrakit system once your plan review is complete and fees are available for payment online. For questions on electrical or photovoltaic systems plans and designs please contact our office at 303.841.1970. Permit and plan review fees for residential homes are $500 and for commercial projects $1000, per State requirements. Additional taxes will apply.
Inspection Requirements:
Inspection requests called in prior to 4:00 p.m. will be inspected the following business day. All RFCC (approved) plans and associated documents must be printed and on site at time of inspection. A 3-hour time window may be requested (AM or PM).
To increase efficiency and collaboration, please Call 303.841.1970 by 8:30 AM the day of the inspection to speak with the inspector. Applicant and/or Contractor will discuss with staff the required location that the RFCC plans must be placed, physical location and access to equipment, and other details as needed. Property owner must be made aware by the applicant/contractor, the system is scheduled for inspection by the Building Division.
