On the second Thursday of each month at 4 p.m., the Town of Parker Mayor hosts local scout troops at Parker Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet. Scouts will have the opportunity to fulfill their badge requirements for local government.
Troop leaders of interested scouts need to sign up their scouts online at least one week prior to the second Thursday of the month. All scouts from a troop who will be attending should be included on the online sign-up form.
Flag Request Program
Anyone can purchase a United States Flag that has flown over Parker Town Hall. Flags will be flown on a day of your choosing, if possible, to acknowledge an event such as a birthday, anniversary or recognition of an honor.
Flag Request Forms must be submitted 30 days in advance of the desired fly date. You can fill out a form online or pick one up at the Customer Service Desk at Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet. Once scheduled, the Town will fly the flag over Town Hall in honor of the individual or group. The individual listed on the request form will be contacted when the flag and certificate are ready for pick up.
Individuals or groups may purchase a United States flag from the Town at cost (approximately $40) or provide their own flag. The flag must be approved for outdoor use, measure 3x5 or 5x8 feet in size and have grommets for easy hanging.
