Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration Presented by Ent Credit Union

Thursday, July 4, 2019; 6 to 10 p.m.
Salisbury Park; 12010 N. Motsenbocker Road

Celebrate Independence Day at the Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration Presented by Ent Credit Union. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and set up for an evening jam-packed with family fun. Many of the activities are complimentary. Six Million Dollar Band will be mixing it up with patriotic music and jamming to 80’s hits from 6 to 9:15 p.m. The evening will conclude with Parker’s biggest and best fireworks display to date, beginning at 9:30 p.m. General event admission is free and event parking is $10, cash only, with no in and out parking allowed.

*Traffic Alert*

This year the northern portion of Motsenbocker Road between Mainstreet and Todd Drive will be closed for road repairs during the summer months. You will not be able to access Salisbury Park from Motsenbocker Road and Mainstreet. Alternative routes will be to access Mostenbocker Road from Jordan Road and Todd Drive or from the south via Hess Road.

In addition to the main parking lot (#3 listed above), additional parking will be available north of Salisbury Park (#1 listed above) with a pedestrian access path to the event. There is also limited accessible parking (#2 listed above). Vehicles may park in any lot when arriving from the north or south via Motsenbocker Road. Following the event, no matter how vehicles entered the lots, vehicles parked in the Salisbury North lots will exit northbound on Motsenbocker Road and vehicles parked in the Main Parking lot will exit southbound on Motsenbocker Road.

Once the designated event parking lots are filled to capacity, usually by 7:30 or 8 p.m., Motsenbocker Road will be closed for the duration of the event. Traffic will be diverted around the event to Jordan Road via Todd Drive on the north and Hess Road on the south. Residents living within the road closure areas will need to show proof of residence to gain access. Motsenbocker Road will re-open once event patrons have vacated the parking lots.

The Town of Parker has opened Salisbury Park baseball fields for additional event day seating. General Admission Field (Field 1) is first-come, first-served general admission seats.  Armed Forces Field (Field #4) will honor our active duty and veteran members by allowing up to 10 wristbands, first-come, first-served for ball field access to members that present their Uniformed Services ID Card or other military paperwork. Fields 02 and 3 are the All American Experience Pass Fields. These fields are accessed by showing a pre-purchased wristband.  Wristbands were pre-sold in June and are on sale while supplies last July 1 to 3 at Parker Town Hall. Please call to Town Hall to check availability. The remaining park grounds will be kept open to the general public for seating as in previous years.
