What is the Economic Development Council?

The Parker Economic Development Council (PEDC) is a public / private non-profit organization that works to broaden the economic base and create new economic opportunities for Parker area residents.  The PEDC is governed by a 23 member board of directors

Our Vision:   To be the primary force in the development of a full-service community.

PEDC investors are area leaders dedicated to working together in order to achieve economic progress and an ever-improving business climate in northeast Douglas County. They also participate in a variety of committees or task forces each year, working with local, county and state government, community and civic organizations, educational institutions, existing and new businesses, and others to develop a balanced, growing and prosperous community.
